iRangefinder is a app that lets you measure your distance from any visible object, and the height of any object, just using the camera integrated in your iPhone or iPod touch!

Measurement doesnt need maps or GPS, and works perfectly indoor and outdoor!

Use iRangefinder to easily measure the room needed for a piece of furniture in your home, or other! Its very easy to use, you can get started in seconds!

Your creativity is the limit, with iRangefinder!

Note: stand when measuring and keep your iPhone at your chest for best results.

The measurement is done by pointing the crosshair to the ground. Do not point the viewfinder on the opposite wall, but point you in the angle that is formed between the wall and the floor. The floor must be level and not on an inclined plane, for example, will not work properly if you want to measure the distance between the iPhone and an object that is located in the lower part of a downhill or on a floor with a slope of a few centimeters (iPhone and object must be on the same floor).

Note: Continued use of the GPS will drain the battery.

Disclaimer: the app cant replace a professional measuring tool and should not be used to achieve professional results. The developer shall not be consider responsible for any improper use of this app.
